Sick

Nisha has been sick for awhile now, finally recovering.

But Rose just followed her and have been sick for a couple days now as well.

I felt it coming.... but managed to get some rest just before.... though still gotta be careful.

I hope they'll be doing better soon.... beginning to miss them healthy!

I wonder if Nisha misses KIDO???  we'll see when she goes back ^_^

google chrome

I started using Safari as soon as I switched back to a mac.

Although it has great startup speed, it lacked a lot of the addons that firefox has.

So, just earlier this year I went back to using firefox so that I become more SEO savvy!

But as I use the browser..... I've noticed again the reason why I wanted to switch Safari in the first place.

Firefox really takes it's time to startup..... and not only that it has so many tools that on a mini or any other netbooks.... it'll take almost a third of the screen!!!!!

Well, fortunately the mini is 10" ..... but really you begin to feel crammed using firefox.

hmmmmm only if they had a better way of showing and using all these tools..... it became like my past bookmark/favorite list....until delicious came out... I remember having a massive bookmark list in the browser, that I'd just give up organizing it.

Again, it's nice to have all these tools and you don't mind at all when you have a big monitor staring in front of you.

But that's why today, I finally decided to download Google's Chrome.  I read many articles.... most of it not really positive either.... but so far it looks and feels fine.  

It's clean for sure and when you take out the address bar..... WOW I feel like I got my screen back!  Hurray!

Although this tab feels weird.... I may get used to it?..... or mayb not.....it just feels like there is this negative space that's there to just take a peek at you..... uuuuuurrrrrr weird......

well hope it runs smooth

More on babbling thoughts.....

So I'm at home writing on the hp mini thinking....

WoW they really did make the net and computer much more personal for me.

I've always was burdened by the thought of having to sit in front of a computer to write something.
Imagine, in the old days we're just doodling on the paper and a thought comes across your mind.....

you write it down, you draw it out... you'll even make up your own script if you felt that's what you had to do.

well, honestly computers... even notebooks aren't really good at doing that.....
but since I've been using the mini.... things have changed a bit.
you can get cozy and let the mind wander again when you write.... it's a nice feeling.  Thank you

So, experiencing this I feel that a hybrid phone and computer is still the future.
the netbooks can be on the road for 3-5 hours depending on how you use it and what model you get.
it's really barely enough... if you're out on the road you'll feel the need to plug in.

......But if you're on a quick out, it will suit you well.

Then why won't we feel satisfied with this......?

cuz we felt it with phones.... the irritation of having to charge.... and with notebooks..... it's like having a leash on your computer..... Nooooooo----------

Going back to the mini....., you want to feel free using a tool..... not attached.... physically or mentally......

maybe some doodling on the netbook, while talking VoIP.... or even better yet.... with 3G capabilities you're making calls as well... updating your blog and checking on your work schedule... btw... you don't have to be always in the office.... with a camera feature that takes upto 3megapixel...with optical zoom and all your files are stored in the cloud with leaving you an excellent battery life of 8 hours without charge coming in many sizes to fit your needs.

I personally like the size of the mini.  10" is just right and the keyboard.... after getting used it feels comfortable as well.... any smaller... I would think again..... so what is it that is missing.... just some extra juice?

whatever it is .... it'll be coming out soon......

Anyway..... the weather in Thailand is getting hot again... nearing Songkran.

It's gonna a be a hot one!!!   Actually.. it's been kind of wet this past few years... and a bit chilly.....

Hope it will be a fun Songkran!.... it'll be Nisha truely first experience!  she'll trip out!

せいごー

今日はちょっと寂しいニュース。。。。

ハワイから一緒だったせいごがついに帰国。

ほんとに’時’とは奇妙なもので、一瞬を見逃すと何年にもなってれば。。。何年も一生懸命にやっていって一瞬にもなる。

こんな簡単な事言われなくてもわかってると思うが。。。なぜだろう～最近前にもまして感じる自分の生き方。

もう昔みたいに青春じみた会話もなくなれば、クラブのイベントで盛り上がる事もなければ、将来の夢を語ることもない。

あの時代は過ぎ、、、今は家族の事を思い、生計を立てながら、夢を現実化してる自分たちがいる。

。。。すくなくとも、そう思いたい。

しかし、周りの友達たちは皆先へ先へといってる中、俺らは結構マイペースだった。

そして、十分に遊んだ。

そんな俺たちに待ってたのは楽しい思い出ばかりとちょっとつらい人生スタート。

ま、これも遊んだつけだろうーって思ってるほうがやりやすい。

今度せいごと会うときはどんな感じなんだろう？

それは会ったとき考えよう。

ニーシャ、どんな時でもネバーギブアップ！

これがパパとママの生き方です。

悔しくても、バカにされても、頭に乗ってても、恋しても、喧嘩しても、

。。。。。とにかくどんな時でも！

そんな生き方が出来てるパパとママは今幸せです。

今月、ママの生理来ませんでした。。。。。さて、次はだれかな？

Today I think about who I am.

Sometime a bit selfish.....

Sometime very loving.....

I can be cold but still caring.....

My thoughts, feelings and opinions have always been in such extremes..... that I really believe in the way of tao.

BTW.... my name means tao.... a Big Tao! a name given to me from my grandfather, that was passed from my great grandfather.

Tao here means Road..... it's kinna funny though how Tao can mean turtle and Koh Tao an island we love to go in Thailand.

Nisha, you were able to say and recognize Tao too!

So.... I am lazy to some.  But still have a grand vision.  I always wonder if this is good.... but most of the time forget about what I'm thinking and move on.... unless it's really important.

.......and what is really important to me?...... well..............

it turns out that my family is important...... especially Rose and Nisah..... but I'm important as well.... I guess this is the selfish side of me.

I try to fit in to groups.

...... but fail to stay in a group.

I love to challenge new things.

........but am easily bored of them.

I quickly think what's next?

Yet can take forever to make a decision.

Really a weird personality that I can't even understand.

All that in mind.  I feel like I'm saying something.

But ..... ..

But...... .... ... is my favorite word.

Never satisfied but always content.

....... creates a very happy personality .... at the same time..... how do you relate to this?

In the end..... as I like to conclude a simple story in a very complex way.....

I like to be simple but I always go the opposite.

So one day, I may know myself better. 

But will always rediscover myself thorough experience.

Bubbles

I had a nice dream the other night.

It reflected an incident that occurred earlier in the day......

Saturday morning, Nisha and I were up at the garden floor at our condo, playing with all her energy as usual.

As we were getting ready to leave, a mother of another child was entertaining Nisha by blowing bubbles!

Nisha loved this and tried to catch, pop and follow the bubbles!

She was even able to say bubbles..... it seems like Nisha remembers words when she can emotionally attach a moment or a feeling to that word.

She was so into the bubbles that she didn't want to leave.... crying and trying to run back.

I guess that had a great impact on me.... making me think of buying a set of bubble to blow for ourselves.

That night, I had this amazing dream.... an image of an acrobatic clown giving a bubble show!

It was like cirque de sol with bubbles that create lines similar to a light or fire show.

I think I'll buy a bubble set soon for Nisha.

This week

This is just a quick follow up from last week......

Nisha has now completed the 2nd week of school.  Hoooray!  (she's beginning to say that now)

But.... at the same time, her crying?!?! has increased???   What's going on???

We're guessing it's some sort of attachment, but it seems as if she's using that to get what she wants.

We've been kind of lenient and have been giving her a lot of fruit juice throughout the day.... 

.......and today she kept on crying and battling in front of the the cupboard where the juices are kept.

Still have to see what's going on in her little mind ^_^

Hope it's just a phase...... but according to the teachers, she's pretty happy in class.

Their IP camera just went up so we'll be taking a peak here in there..... too bad it only supports Explorer....

HEY..... some people have Macs!.... k, finished shouting.....

....Nisha, we hope you grow strong and know that there are many people who loves you!

Started School!

先週。。。１さいと６ヶ月で。。。ニーシャの学校生活が始まりました！！！　Yeah!

とは言っても、週３回だけどね！

初日は結構どきどきしました。。。。（私たちが。。。）

しかし　ニーシャは入り口に置いてあるおもちゃの箱に手が行ったその瞬間から親を忘れて遊んでました。

ま、ニーシャらしいと言うことで我々は安心して仕事へさっさと行きました。

。。。。あの調子だと、ほって置いても大丈夫やと完璧に浮かれていた私たちは。。。。

学校が終わる午後６時間際に。。。。

ああ、ローズ。　　お腹すいたね、何か食べようよ。　どうせニーシャも食べてるはずだしね。　と私は言った。

二人はゆっくり隣の店でスパゲテイーを食べながらニーシャ大丈夫だったかなと話しながら迎えにいったら。。。

なんと？？？　　ニーシャ。。。一人ではないか？　他の子供たちは？？？

　　　急いで中に入るとニーシャは飛びつき　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　

　　　バ、バ、とタイ語でいこうと言われて、、、、どうしたんだろう？と思い先生に聞いたら。

もうーとても良い子でね！とものすごく感激！

　　　え？けど、この様子？

すると、他の生徒たちは１時間まえに皆帰ってしまってぐずってたそうです。

それを聞いてほっとした我々はニーシャの一生懸命な。。。　　　

　　　バイバイ　バイバイ　を無視しながら先生の話をじっくり聞き込んでしまいました。

と初日は以外とスムーズに進んでこれなら安心だと思っていて親ばか２名ですが。。。。

２日目

いやこの日はなんとなく察してたのか朝は結構ぐずってました。

しかし、学校に着くなり。。。。

　　　　また！

あそんじゃうのね。。。。　これじゃ、本当に昨日とおんなじじゃん。。。。

ま、楽しければ良いや！　と親もるんるん気分で仕事へ行ったが。。。。

前の日ちょっと遅れて迎えに行ったからその日は早めに行こうとと二人で思い早めに迎えに行きました。

。。。。そしたら。。。。

なんと、ニーシャものすごく顔がブルーだぞ！

そんな顔を見て二人で学校の中へもうダッシュ！！！

そして先生に話しを聞いたら。。。。。

なんと。。。。

今日はニーシャ一日一人で、最後に二人子供が寄っただけだったと。。。。

ノー！！！

それじゃニーシャちょっとかわいそうだよ！

。。。ちなみにこの学校ニーシャが初代です。。。。実はまだ正式に登録してる生徒ほんの２，３名だそうです。。。

。。。。。。。。。ごめん。。。。。ニーシャ。。。。。。

ここまで来るとさすがのニーシャも。。。

３日目

泣きまくり！

しがみつき、後を追い、３日目でようやく置いていかれてる事に気づいたらしい。。。。ちょっと遅い？？？

とまあ～よくがんばったニーシャ！

さ今週はどうなるかな？

早く友達が来るといいね！

日本へ行ってから最近ニーシャのお気に入りのフレーズが！！！

突然一人で。。。ばーと言ってからいない。。いない。。なんて言ってみたり。。。
